As soon as I've worn the tyres out I'll be switching them to 235 40 18, my audi's a sport model but if I decide to take it down a further notch or 2 I'm wondering just how far to lower it.

I dont want to feel like I'm driving a plank of wood that bounces out of every pothole in the road, I want the car to look at a nice low height without spoiling the ride.

You suggestions please :)

I'm running 225/35/19 front
235/35/19
ride was good, considering I have coilovers wound half way down.
My subframe did occasionally scrape on bumps

But 18s on a 40 tyre should be more than fine, and still relatively comfortable

Sorry I should have been a bit more clear, I was referering to 'What size springs' :)

Ah sorry mate,
well my coils are down about 70-80ml
and I want them up haha too low for me

so a 60mm spring drop would look smart on 18s and you will still have loads of clearance around arches and underneath
