Hey not sure if you still after a picture of this but i did it to mine today as i pass a TT every day on my way to work with a gloss front grill and really wanted mine done, was worried about doing it but im fairly confident with painting so i gave it a shot and i must say it looks awesome!

Did mine with Plastikote high gloss and the finish is unreal considering its not lacquered! :)

where you get the paint from ????? looks good

Wilkinsons surprisingly! i think B&Q sell it as well, Cost just under £7, its supposed to be chip resistant. i will soon find out. the one tin did all my grills with 3 coats and still some paint left over.

Looks great, nice job!

Be interesting to see just how chip resistant they are, let us know how you get on. I want to do my grills gloss black at some point, I always imagined a clear coat would be needed to help keep the chips at bay.

I have just done mine on my b6 saloon, i added a couple of coats of clear coat on mine, I'll report how they deal with the stone chips.
