Rear registration plate light query ?

My near side registration plate light is out .
(A4 cab) But when I went to change bulb it screw head is "rounded" can't get it out , dont think I can get the angle in to drill out screw , any ideas if I can get the whole trim section off from inside and either replace the whole light section or get the light section out ?

Depending how bad they are you may be able to drill them out, another way is to drill around the plastic lens and use mole grips on the screw head. A new holder, pair of lens's and bulbs usually work out £50 ish.
