Headlight warning stopped working

As the heading says the warning beep to tell you you have left your lights on has stopped working. I replaced the headlight switch only a month ago is it linked to the switch?

Is the dash showing the door open if not then it could be broken wires in the door and the car thinks the door is still shut hence no warning beep

May as well rule out the easy common things first!

There's a buzzer inside the dashboard, possibly in the instrument cluster from memory.

As Stu says depends whether the door open visual is working?

Hadn't thought of that but just checked and the Open door display is working fine.
If I can't fix it i will get my auto electrician m8 to wire something in.
Already left the lights on twice, don't know how much you need something until its gone.
