theres millions' well hundreds of posts simular if you google. for alarm if some one is in the car. cant be bothered to explain

They disable certain parts of the alarm system.

Top one is for disabling the lift / level sensor - so your car can be locked and towed
Bottom one is used for disabling the ultrasonic sensors in the car - so you can lock the car if you have left kids or a pet in the car.

These only last one activation, so your alarm system will be back as normal the next time you lock.
