Bought this with 75,000 miles on clock.
Pretty good nick but alloys seriously needed refurbing and one or two dings need pulling out. Apart from that, it was clean!!

First jobs done: snowfoam etc, claybar & a couple of layers of collinite.
Alloys refurbed, painted calipers and lcr splitter fitted...

Next job, take the dummy s-line badges off that previous owner put on.

Great looking Avant. Looks like a very similar colour to mine but I believe mine is Ocean Blue Pearlesant.

Thanks ;)
I said I wasn't gonna play with this one after my Fabia vrs, but there looks like so much to mod up on this site!!

Very nice and clean looking, try to pop along to the Welsh meets.

Yes I shall ^^^
Gone with the chrome grill!!
Wrapped the upper and lower with carbon fibre vinyl and got rid of badges.

difficult to wrap.....

Wanna do mine?

Bit of an update.
Won't fussed on the carbon grill, didn't seem to look so good against a dark paint. So went back chrome for the first time in my life.
Then replaced the mirror covers with chrome covers. (Not stick over ones).
Had the windows tinted light-ish smoke, pressed UK font plates with 'D' logo (well it is a German car) and some Wolfsburg surrounds.
Misses played hell with me about taking badges off so they went back on.
Pic before chrome mirrors.

Really good example dude, good luck with it

Thanks guys! ;)

Don't know what to do next??
Can't really lower it as it's used as a bit of a loader for work and to be honest these cars are just stunning with minimal mods.
My last car, Fabia vrs, needed a lot of money spent on it to look good as they're a bit of minger out of factory.

Any idea's what to do next to make it a bit different??
Tempted to do the joey mod but these headlights are smart enough

Cheap DIY mod that I've done is to paint the rear bumper underneath the black lip so the middle bit is all black love mine being silver...

Yes I have seen that on yours and have thought about it.
I was thinking about spraying the bottom bit in plastidip...

I used a paint for plastic think its called plastikote really easy to use and only took couple of hours to rub down primer and paint and it looks loads better from behind...

Wow. I think I'm in love with your car :applaus: It looks fantastic. Love the colour, perfect mix! Why did the missus make you put the S-Line badges back on? If she prefers the original look it should be without mate. Are you always around Merthyr or do you travel? As I'm local I will keep an eye out for you :D

Thanks :D
I'm pretty much everywhere, mostly Aberdare to Swansea.
What ever the misses says goes lol. They'll be off soon, I promise.

Been looking at Heko wind deflectors, a good idea on Audi's or not??

Made myself some cup holders to go into the rear armrest this week to hold my kids Macd's drinks.

Made out of 6mm black acrylic and cut & engraved on a laser.

Also blackened the lip on the bottom of the rear bumper the same as Marktdisport.
I used plastidip which is sooooo easy to use.

Tinted the headlights & fogs.
Pic how it looks now without my beloved splitter which was ripped off for the 4th time by the cattle grid at my mother in law's farm. My fabia vrs use to fly over it even being lowered but the Audi seems to just nose dive at it.

Also removed number plate surrounds.

Also tinted the clear bits on the rear lights.

Oh, & it's now remapped :D
(Thanks Rhyso, Kinetic Tuning)

Feels much, much better through the gears.
Not no where near as quick as my mapped Fabia vrs (1.9tdi) was, but got to take the weight into account.
Got to lose 19stone off the car for that. Lol.

looks very nice mate, i have the same colour but in saloon. and i think the front grills look alot better chrome!.

where did you get your wingmirror covers/ caps from if you dont mind me asking?

EBay. £65.00
I don't think I've bought anything for the car that's not from fleabay. Lol
Can't find them at the moment though.

I've carbon wrapped some bits of the interior as well looks nice.
You thought about SPI vision on the rear lights. Smokes them and it does look good.
I'll throw some pics up of u would like

ill get them up tomorrow for you, would love the cup holder you made, looks ace lol

Carbon wrap the door / dash inserts and the ashtray ???? made a whole world of difference to mine in place of the brushed alloy
pic dont really do it justice

Yep that's it.
I got the platinum interior in mine so shows more but it does look awesome and has made so much difference

Nice. Deffo gonna carbon my interior.
This weeks job, just gotta read up on how to remove dash trim.

Led's in the numberplates done tonight.
All interior led's fitting tomorrow night...

How easy was it to do the rear cup holder you made

Not easy first time. Getting the measurements to the exact mil was a pain in the ***.
Easy to make another one though as all measurements are saved for the laser to do it's job.
To be fair, the kids have used it hard. It's doing it's job well.

All in all, 13 bulbs replaced with led's.
Rusty screws in the numberplate bulb holder were a little annoying so attacked them with a Dewalt drill :D
Lucky I had some Audi bulb holders spare.
