Track day car

After a few ideas,

I am considering converting/stripping out my 04 1.8tq 190 to use on track days, as since i bought a new car 6 weeks ago the audi has lay fallow in the garage and it seems a shame... Until now i have used a tvr chimera on track days but its a bit wayward and unrefined so the audi is an ideal alternative. i have never tracked the audi so i was just hoping to find someone who has converted one or even tracked a standard one and knows their weak points, i.e. brakes, weight, eating clutches etc. Its only an idea at the mo because as much as its a shame to not use it at all, its a shame to destroy a perfectly good and much loved car.

Have you done anything to it already?

Map it, decent suspension and tyres and strip it and you'll have some fun.

nothing has been done to it, its as it was when it left germany lol.
i might try advertising a few bits on ebay and see how i get on, i think if i am gonna mod it i want to be able to sell the parts off it to pay for new bits, if it seems too much of a pain i think i will give it to a car club, i know one that does little race days and stuff with help for heroes.
