Roof module

Hi all I have a b6 a4 2.5tdi convertible 2004, now what it is I want a roof module where I can open and close the roof with my key fob

I'm sure this has been discussed before (1wheelonly perhaps?) - have you tried searching? I'm not really up to speed on Cabs. Maybe Kufatec do one?

I have a smartop roof module fitted on mine, bought it from Mods4Cars in the US about 3.5 years ago. Works great and has functions you can customise. Would recommend. Unsure of prices compared to other products available as havent looked for a long time. Think it was towards the more expensive end.

how is it fitted?

it fits in the drivers side rear door panel
some wires come out of the oem modula and fin it the smart top
its very easy plug an play

The basic version is installed into the drivers door. The full version is installed in the rear-quater.

I installed mine, have fitted it to two cabs now. Fitted it to my last cab, removed it when i sold it and re fitted it to the cab i have now. Not that easy to do, just a bit fiddly. Ideally another pair of hands will make it much easier and ideally someone who is a bit handy. Fits in the drivers side rear quarter, behind the panel. Hardest part is re-fitting the panel/card really. Nice mod though once its done.
