possible engine mount on its way out

hello , what it is is if i stal mu car thwre is a large thud, and on idle it has a slight side to side rock on the car but is that jist. with way engine mounted? my car is a 1.9 pd 2004 plate any ideas

yep sounds like one on the driverside is failing or failed.

I've had this problem for a while if I accidentally stall it there is a loud thud that comes from the engine bay,also going over dud ground there seems to be slight thudding but put that down to suspension arms.so you think it could engine mount as I've had a scan and there's no fault code.is it wise to change both or is it ok to do just the drivers side mount.

1.9 TDI have solid mounts,

I thought one side had a solenoid which brought up a fault code.would you say these are the problem and would you change both at the same time.

N/S passenger side has some fluid inside it so if it fails, you can see some oil on it also it will come up on the computer because its the electric one too.
