Head light Remove how too......

hi all

is there an easy way to remove the head lights

i want to take them off and clean the insides ,,got to be cheaper then buying new
headlight units ....

2 screws on top and to at the back on the bottom bit hard to see but you only need to loosen them not take them right out

its dead esy to pop the headlight out mate but ye, remember u only need to slacken off the back/bottom two screws, not out all the way as u will struggle to get them back in!

I did mine over the winter and I found pouring washing up liquid in with some really hot water (not boiling) and give them a right good shake loosens majority of the crap off

mine was really bad the water was black! on the plus side I could see after I did it!

Hi

Done the headlight cleaning thing
and sealed all up and back on car
it just seems to mist up every time I turn them on now
what to do !!! I've taken the back off and blown it with the hair
dryer and it's ok ... Then I go for a drive with them on and
it mists up again

you havent sealed them right
or the back cover aint on correct

Nope im pretty sure ive sealed the lights up all around and the new seals on the back plates too

but still mist inside ...

may have too reopen and seal again .....
another days work ....

sorry to jump on a thread but on the subject of headlights can the metal clips that hold the bulb covers on be replaced? two of mine have gone awol
