changing a power steering pump

Enough room under to get it out, fiddly but can be done
 
From under? On a 2.5? Jesus. I certainly couldn't do it!

Turkster. I took the front end off mine and just moved the panel out a touch. It's hard enough as it is to get things like the fan off.

yep, its tight, may give it to the lads to do, my one is squealing like a ***** on full lock now, i've topped up the fluids and pumpped it, but its not getting any better and its got to be sorted soon,
 
naa front off.
i dont see how you can get to the 17mm allen key on the aux belt tensioner, to get the tension off the belt, without taking the viscous off and undoing the 3 6mm allen keys out of the front cover to remove the cover itself.
 
I would also check the aux. belt tensioner and bearings in the alternator, they known to fail with high mileage motors- also require front off to replace...
