Hi Peeps..... my lad brought his A41.9 TDi round tonight with a problem.... when you drive along and take your foot off the gas and lightly rest your foot on the clutch pedal you can feel a vibration... if you accelerate the vibration goes away at first i thought clutch release bearing but it makes no noise when you depress the clutch and it dosn't do it when stationary so then i started thinking dual mass flywheel but i was led to beleive when these start to fail they make a ratling noise when ticking over which this dosn't so now i'm inclined to think it maybe gearbox internals.... has anyone come across a similar problem ??? i don't really want to start stripping all down just yet as it's not a major vibration but there's certainly something amiss

When the pedal is fully pressed in does the vibration go away?

Yes i think it did.....only does it whilst your moving though which is why i'm thinking it's not the flywheel because that would do it all the time wouldn't it ?
