Newbie Help!

Hi, I've just bought an 1.9 sport 130. It didn't come with any receipt off a cam belt change, is there anyway to check if its been done??

Also the LCD screen is knackered, where can i get a new one from?!

You can unclip the cambelt cover to visually inspect the belt. If it looks ridged or has no writing left on it I wouldn't take a chance on it.
If there's any sign of fraying get it done asap. If you have Audi service history it's worth giving them a ring as they don't always tick the toothed belt replaced box in the service book.
There is a fix for the dash lcd screen so do a google search.

the best £275-300 quid you'll ever spend rather than spending ££££ on a rebuild when it breaks m8 take a general look but is it worth the chance.... if the seller doesnt have proof its been done then it starts to ring alarm bells that it hasnt
