Looking at the possibility of new wheels. Found ones that are 19"x8.5" ET42.
Am I right in saying they will stick out 9mm more than my current ones (which I believe are 18"x8.0" ET45)?
I feel the standard ones need to stick out more but not sure if this will be too much or not, also being a bigger wheel (diamiter & width) Im assuming this wont be an issue either (looking at 235x35 tyres)?

9mm sounds about right. 3mm more on the offset and approx 6mm as a result of the wider rim. They'll fit fine, you might want a few mm spacer depending on the look you're after.
