anyone got the part number for american b6 cab boot lid or boot lid number plate recess
 
The reason people by these is to make the car look american spec, so the plate recess is what the OP is after.

OP, i think the americans have caught on to people from europe doing this hence bumping the price.

wanting one of these cos my number plate has only 5 digets on it
 
there was some one on here that converted there boot to a usa one had a big wright up on how to do it and all if i rember right its a case of cutting out the lip part where your number plate sits wilding in a flat part to bring it closer then re wild your lip back on i no im not explaining it to well but sure some one can find his post for you

why do that when you can buy one
 
maybe it dont cost as much not sure why he did it but he got the same look
