Front Wing repair

I have a small dent on the o/s/f wing and the paint has chipped a bit and have been quoted by Audi .....wait for it............Ł732 pounds for it to be repaired!!!! They must think money grows on trees! Another body specialist guy i know quoted me a couple of hundred quid who is excellent as i have seen his work! ...Audi are rip off merchants at every level! I spit on the stealers! 'spit' 'spit'

Mines goin to the body shop next week, its out of warranty now anyway, the place im taking it to is VBRA approved and its costing me Ł400 to prep and paint two doors with trolley dents, a dent in my boot lid, paint and fit a boot lip spoiler, and paint (not fit) front & back S4 bumpers.

Ł732.00!!!???** I would of asked for a cup of water and a chair, and a bag to be sick in, cheeky feckers!

Thats the thing....when i bought the car the bonnet was a little scratched so they said they would t-cut it and it didnt work so they resprayed it ....

... they said bonnet wasnt in warranty anymore cause it had been resprayed

[/ QUOTE ]
If Audi did the job then surely they MUST have done to to Audi standards and hence maintain the warranty.

I personally wouldn't accept it.

Re: Front Wing repair

Well got the dent fixed at last and resprayed! Mate at work brought me down to some garage run by Polish guys near Langley where he lives! Must say the guy did a very good job, body work is perfect paint job is fantastic perfect match other than a few pin marks on the paint which are barely noticable. Left it in Monday morning 10am and picked it up at 6pm later that same day. How much did i get charged i hear you ask!! Well it wasn't Ł732 that Audi quoted! Not even half that not even Ł200 but a mere 100 nicker! For a Ł100 i aint complaining looks great!
