Hi All,

My first post.

I was hoping someone could shed some light on something i've seen in an interior of another B6 audi. In place of the cigerette lighting where the handbrake is was a socket pretty much like the one in the boot, where you press it and it opens to show the 12v electrical socket. Is this something that can be retrofitted?

If so does anyone know the part number for it?

Thanks

I have that in mine, i did replace it for a new one when i had the console out, i'll have a look through my box of bits to see if i still have the old one,

The earlier models had the revolving design, but it was superceded by a fixed design on the later models.

Yep thats it, mine is an early 02 sport and has some features that the later ones don't but also looses out on lots of others, sorry also duffy but i don't have the old lighter unit i took out and it's not easy to find the number as you have to remove the console to remove the lighter socket.
