Hello
We had a reported problem on out MOT that the front discs would need changing soon. I have done a lot of work on older cars I just wondered how easy it is to do and are there any specail tools required

Thanks

Terry

Dead easy, undo 2 caliper bolts and remove and then take the carrier off ( 2 bolts) turn the steering wheel so that you can get some purchase with your breaker bar on the bolts. the rest is to swap over the disk and push back the caliper piston. you can use a clamp for the fronts if you dont have a rewind tool as the piston does not have to be rotated like the rears. Its good practice to cover the rear of the pad in copper grease and i always put some red rubber grease under the caliper slide rubber also and i always give the whole assembly a good wire brushing and a clean up.reassemble and your good to go. It helps to remove the cover from your brake fluid tank also while you do the job but place a rag around to stop any excess overtopping.

Thanks so much, I will order the discs!!
