Hi All New to the forum so first things first, Hello.
I,ve blown the engine in my Avant, 52 plate 2.5tdi BFC code.
Have been offered a low mileage AKE code engine and auto box. Will it fit or are there to many differances.
I've never had an Audi before so don't know much about them. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Ive never heard of changing a manual to auto but it can be done the other way so why not. It will be a major event though as you will need the stick assembly and the ecu to start with, Also the ake engine as far as i know is 4 wheel drive only (may be wrong but fairly sure) so the gearbox will have more driveshaft connections than your car has at front wheel drive. Chris aka adamss24 hopefully will put you straight.

My car has the auto box/ I'll have to call him to make sure what he's got
