No you can do this on the R32's etc, is it possible on the A4, anyone done it, searched quite abit with no luck.

On V6 and think V8 Engines, just before one of the back boxes on the Exhaust system there is a small vacume pipe that going to a butterfly valve' May vairy, Basicly one way of doing it is putting a screw in the end of the vacume pipe and tie wrapping it up, this will cause the valve to stay open always,

Sorry Just a brief description as typed it quick but you get the jist.

This makes the exhaust note sound alot better and lower down in the range.

I wasn't aware the 3ltr V6 A4 had a exhaust with a flap in. could be wrong though! Get under and have a look bud.

any update on this? I'm fairy sure my exhaust didn't have a valve and my milltek certaionly doesn't. the Milltek is certainly a good way to get a better sound though
