engine undertrays, all the same?

Hi guys,

when I bought my TDI quattro avant, it didn't have an engine/gearbox undertray (most likely ripped off at some point).

I am now looking to buy one off e-bay, however I have fitted a full S4 front end to the car, so the question is, are all the engine undertrays the same, or do I need to get an S4 one......

i recently replaced both of mine and have a feeling they are the same across the range (i could be wrong though!)

They're different on the A3 (8L), certainly quattro to non quattro, so I'd be surprised if they were all the same.

It's one of those things you might be best speaking to a friendly local Audi parts department about. They should be able to check on the systems what was fitted at the factory, and then they can check that part number vs an S4 part if you've got the front end fitted.

seems there is two parts to this and that one is just the front part do you need both parts ?

Their is 2 undertrays on all A4's one for the engine and another for the gearbox....... until I jack the front up, unsure if I need the gearbox one as well.....

hi there! ive got a 2001 vw passat undertray sat behind my shed protected in plastic bags been there for 2 years if it fits your motor and you want it you can have it ! all the twisty anoying screw things are there too!

right! been a lot cold up north this week so sorry i didnt do this quicker {-penis was the temp last night) sorry but this undertray will not fit your b6! i think it will fit a b5 but not sure! pepole on here dont like under tray but i find thy make engie noise more acceptable! but hey thats just me sorry i could no help mate!
