Replacing dual mass fly wheel with a solid?

RIght guys I am looking at getting a cost for replacing my clutch and flywheel and I am undecided do I replace the dual mass with a solid what are your thoughts?

What's your engine ? 5 or 6 speed ?

its a 5 speed and i have no future plans for it other than to drive it until the car falls apart or either is beyond economical repair....

is it a 1.9TDI as iv got a fantastic GEN VAG DMFW with clutch plate in it up for grabs before you sling in a solid DMFL that may cause you more problems later.

I was told that the solid ones shake the car to bits and the rest of the engine.

On a diesel a solid flywheel sounds awful, only reason I never went with one.

They're not all like that. Mine (not an Audi, but a Seat) is no louder than standard

Not had problem with Solid flywheel for 20 000 miles, total 200 000 miles on car 1.9 tdi 130 sport
must be one of the lucky ones.
