    Front wiper motor part number?

    Anybody know the front wiper motor part number?
    Will the motor from a b7 fit?

    You sure it's the wiper motor that's failed as it's normally the linkage that seizes up. The motor has a safety cut out built in to it to protect it.

    what pauldazzle said, common fault with the B^, the linkage siezes up
    2.5 tdi Quattro sport - PhatBox - DIS - Cruise - RS4 ARB - Remap - and a few other minor mods/retrofits

    Already replaced linkage last year. Got wet in that area again now wipers are permanently on. Changed relay and tried new wiper stalk, still the same. Hoping the wiper park switch in the motor has failed./

    Sounds like you have a short circuit in the motor.

    I have it the same problem,and i thought is wiper motor fault,this is the reason because i have one.
    But no,it wasn` the motor,it was the electric control module,because the water come inside of this module,see pics
    The new module cost me 245£ from the stealer

    It looks like it's worth spankius having a look at the module before buying a motor then.

    Ashihara - what caused your water damage? A leaking ecu cover?
    2003 A4 Avant 2.5TDi quattro

    To do: Joey-mod headlights - Twin Exit Exhaust Conversion - Puddle light and Footwell light retrofit - Rear roof spoiler.

    WANTED: Unpainted standard front & rear lower valance (with twin exhaust cut outs) - from someone who's doing an S-Line upgrade.

    Yes,but it was my fault;in the summer time the wiper linkage get blocked and to get it out i had to take the ECU off and i didn`t fit the screw`s back propely.

    Yes,it need programming; is still working without programming,but doesn`t work properly and throw`s some error code`s.

    Fixed

    Took the module out, it was full of water and even ice. Dried it out, sprayed it with multi lube and everything works.

    Saved me a lot of time and money. I have spent a couple of weeks and not found the answer anywhere else.
    How do i do a proper thanks, i move the arrow over it and nothing happens.

    If you move the mouse over the thanks button the cursor will turn into a finger, so you can click on it. Might not work on a Tapatalk app if thats what you're using.

    Hi im also having same issue with my wipers its only workin on medium speed and have to remove the fuse to switch it off plus the horn doesnt work n goes off wen it feels like due to the bulkhead drainage being blocked water came through.
    I wanted to know what do you mean by reprogramming the control module?
