is powersteering fluid the same as at? only iv been told that they use it in the cranes at the fatherinlaws works as powersteering fluid as well as the auto box

No Audi use mineral oil, ensure you only use the OEM stuff as you will screw up the steering rack using anything else. It's £7 a litre from any VW dealer.
