resetting service clock

My car is due a service which i plan to do myself but how do i reset the service computer in the car?


its an A4 2.0 fsi

1st = Switch off engine
2nd = Press the service button (spanner) and hold whilst switching on ignition. The display will show one of these messages: "service in ????km or service!
3rd = Press and hold the reset button(0.0 button) until the display shows: service in---km--days or service!
(the display switches out of the reset mode if you do not press the reset button within 5 seconds)

It will take 500 miles or so before the timer starts counting down again.
