does anyone have a photo of there front brake set up without the wheels on as im about to change the front flexi hoses and wanted to remind myself of whats infront of me before i start when the weather lets up,

Did the front and rear flexi hoses on my 1.9 TDI quattro last year, no clips, just unscrew at either end if I remember correctly....
Used LOTS of penetrating fluid and a little heat to make sure I didn't snap the solid lines.....

The clip holds the hose firm for you so that doesn't need holding. Just undo the hard brake pipe nut affraid and it will wind out find.

Went into Audi this morning and ordered the spring clip and the extar little bit of pipe as i dont want to get stuck in the pipe twists and snaps, had that hapen before and it caused a right load of trouble as the car was sat on a mates driveway for 3 days waiting for the parts to come in at the main dealers, also from when i did the rears rhe pips and clips was all well worn in the 11 years of service and the 212k miles!
