Confused on A4

Possibly looking to buy a 2000 facelift A4 2.4 V6 5 speed

As you can see it is a facelift version, my confusion lies in that all sites I goto they list the 2000 A4 as either a 1.8T 20V or a 2.8L V6... is this correct???

All I want to do is find out some basic performance/specifications on this model and it seems all misleading.

Please help...

If the link doesn't work then just go to www.whatcar.co.uk and do a valuation on the car. It gives reasonable tech and spec information.

Whether the 1.8T is a better engine depends on what you want. I prefer 5+ cylinders under the bonnet as 4s are just soooo boring (even though we now have 2 four cylinder cars) but the 1.8T is extremely tuneable.

I believe that the 2.4 was the poorest selling petrol engine but that doesn't mean it's bad.
