Lower bumper part removal

the lowet half of the bumper' how does it detatch from the top half. can it be done on the car does it just clip off.

the section i mean is the gmbh / votex bits. just never had to remove before

Front or rear?

They both need to come off to do the job properly, as for the front at least you need to trim the upper bumper to fit the new lower. There's a how-to on Audizine I think, or A4mods.

What exactly are you trying to do? Are you removing to refit a Gmbh valance or just swapping like for like?

You need to take the bumper off to do it either way really.

swapping the lower half for what i already have, like for like, id have thought, unscrew splash guards and it unclips from the top half of the bumper

From personal experience you need to take the whole front and rear bumpers off to remove the lower sections.........

shame, would have been nice too just undo the splash gaurds and pull to unclip
