WING MIRROR GLASS REPLACEMENT

Anyone ever replaced a glass as my drivers side heated element isnt as good as the nearside, so ive ordered a new oem replacement just wondered if anybody as a diagram or and ideas were to start as i take it there very fiddly, thanks

Door mirror Glass replacement. Tilt the mirror/glass and start pulling from the lower corner then tilt it down and do the same working around the glass be gentle.

I've in fact just finished replacing the glass on my A4. I struggled removing the glass by pulling it out. Instead I removed the black plastic bottom part of the mirror (its only held in with two screws), you the have access to the back of the glass and it easy to just push it out then.

why didnt you use 2 cable ties and place round mirror then give a pull ..comes off so easy this way

as above 2 cable ties never broke 1 that way
