Number plate LED's?

Do i need any specific bulbs for the number plate on the A4 Avant?

I want a nice crisp white light but not sure if i need some can bus compatible bulbs or something.

They need to be Canbus compatible yes.

Are they festoon? If so what size are they?

You only need can bus if you have full dis with bulb out warnings

I'd fit Canbus ones irrespective, the Canbus system covers more than just lights out.

Interested, have these been well tested, as some seem to work wellfor a while then go out, or somtimes flicker or maybe throw a warning from time to time.
Sorry, just I fancy a set and the more I looked into it, it just dosnt seem worth the hassle, but if these work well , bonus.

Hehe .. just did this mod in 25 seconds .. small tiny screwdriver .. screws out .. new bulbs .. boom. Finished
