Hi,
I am having really trouble with my wife's A4 2.0 fsi avant.
The car has really rough idle and fuel consumption is poor, the car has had new plugs and coils and has also had new ox sensor, the car runs fine but idles like it is going to stall

Air leak or faulty maf are the likely problems. I know everyone likes to say get it scan on vagcom but in this case I think it's a good idea. I would tend to go with an air leak though.

would agree with b-buggy, I've got the same engine and a while back had the same symptons,, turned out to be a breather hose that goes from rocker cover into the plastic inlet manifold to the right of the engine .

Thanks for the reply, I have read the codes and there are 5!!!!!! Struggling to find real info on them though
Funny enough I disconnected the maf earlier and the idle smoothed out, but I am also getting a rich smell
