Vagcom 01562 - 01562 - Rear Right Door: Can't Unlock

Hi Guys,

Pulled this code from Vagcom, all doors lock and unlock fine with remote, strange thing though is that once unlocked I can open the rear right door only and after a few seconds the car auto locks like the door isnt open at all, the red door open light isnt on either.

Strangest thing is when Ive unlocked and turn ignition to show glow plugs etc the car unlocks itself again.

Anybody have any ideas? Or experienced this?

Interior light doesnt come on when i open the door but dash door signal does, weird its asif only the dash sees the door open, wondering if its not a split in the loom no signs of split when i pulled back rubber between pillar and door.

Anyone else have this? Bang your lock, your light may flicker on and off, think this is a sticky micro switch in the lock, time to replace the lock.
