Seats stopped sliding forward (and back) when trying to allow passengers in da back??

Howdy All,

I have a 2005 A4 Cabriolet S-Line with Leather Seats (not sure if that makes any difference... anyhoo) which I bought about 6 months ago from Fontain Motors. After about 3 months the driver seat stopped sliding forward and backward when 'opening' it up to let people get in the back.

Now about 2 weeks ago the passenger side seat has done the same.

You can still slide them forward and back using the seat adjuster but as you can understand this is pants.

My question is... Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a common problem and how do I fix it? I am guessing my warranty from Fontain will not cover it.

Any help would.... AS ALWAYS... be greatly appreciated.
