Break light

My passenger side break light only works when it wants to. The amber warning light comes on also. It spends most of the time not working and just decides to work for a bit then off again.

Any ideas guys?

Oh BTW, a beep has just started sounding when the light decides not to work. The beep never used to sound. Why would it start out of the blue?

remove the light fitting and bulb clean the bulb housing replace bulb make sure the b-housing is a tight fit to the bulb check the loom is securely connected re-fit..

Thanks, done all of the above. I haven't yet checked for voltage at the plug but I will.

Is it the low pad light coming on? Orange?

I'd check switch connections too.
