Oil in pipe between EGR and intracooler

My 1.9TDi (standard 130bhp with 130k on the clock) has oil in the pipe going from the intracooler to the EGR valve.
Is this normal?
What causes this?

I also leave a cloud of smoke behind when I nail it.
Is this related?

Yes a bit of oil in the pipes is perfectly normal.

down to old age m8 all turbo's will pass some oil some more than others.....
