Number plate LED's???

Hi All

I bought some LED licence plate lights off eBay....

I fitted these yesterday and they didnt work!

Had to go back to the dull yellow originals!

Anyone else had this trouble?

It never threw any lights on the dash etc ..... Thought it was strange!

Hi did you try turning them around 180 degrees, i did that with one of my mine when it didnt work whilst fitting and it works spot on.

never quite worked out why any 1 wants bright number plate lights for others to spot better if you get my drift, i never was my number plate either lol

It's about colour not brightness. You never wash (?) your number plate?

Also try adjusting the contact points, i had to bend the contacts closer together so that i had a good connection. Everytime i went over a bump they would go off. Pain in the *** but its all good now.

was joking james about the number plate i brought some but also had 1 of them flickering all the time... if the connections arnt 100% clean they are a pain in the butt to keep working i had to drill my screws off to remove my originals this probably didnt help in my case...
