How much did you get quoted for a 1.8t quattro exhaust ?

Hi,

I have been doing some phoning around as I need to replace the whole exhaust from the cat back on my 2002 A4 1.8t quattro. I got quoted £400 for a custom made stainless steel one fitted and then thought i'd phone euro car parts as it a normal one must be a lot cheaper. They quoted me £430 ! !


My question is how cheap have you managed to get a cat-back exhaust both SS and standard ? it seems there is a massive difference ! !

the system from audi are quite cheap its the rear silencer they nearly 200 alone..... what area do you live in most diy ss exhaust places charge around 300

I live just outside Glasgow, phoned a couple of places but £400 was the cheapest I got quoted. Really need the price down on the system as it needs replaced pretty soon !
