Engine mount replacement..how much? also odd oil leak

thinks its been going for a while but now the engine is rocking like crazy and you can push it from side to side by hand. Anyone had them done and how much would I be looking at? Also I have noticed there seems to be a small amount of oil around the base of where the oil filler is situated on the rocker cover. Its never been there before.

have just done one on my 2.5tdi. it cost £105 inc vat. i fitted it myself so all in 105. never tried one of these yet but turned out pretty easy.

thanks for that. daft Q but do you need an engine hoist and did you have the same symptoms as me?

nope i did it on a jack, i used a steel spreader plate then a plank of wood under the sump no problem at all. symptoms i had where a bad knocking noise and the engine was lifting on take off 3 to 4 inches as a guess

mine thud's if your slight down hill and let of the throttle in 1st & 2nd at slow speeds guess mine needs one on the drivers side....
