headlight adjustment help.

on the top of each headlight is two adjustment screws, is one for up and down and is one for left and right, if so which one is which. cheers.
 
If you haven't already done this, from memory the left headlamp should be the left screw and the right headlamp should be the right screw, the screw thats nearest the dipped beam bulb, this is standing at the front of the engine.
 
so are you saying that as you stand in front of the car the outside adjusters are the up and down and the inside ones are for left and right.
 
Yes i believe so, why do you ask anyways? do you want to adjust them for mot? , if so you are prob better getting a station with a light tester to do it to get it exactly where it needs to be
 
Park against a wall with the lights on, and see which adjuster does what.

As mentioned though, you'll never get them right without a beam reader.
