Help please... Yellow ABS light and ESP yellow on.

Just got in the car this morning to find the yellow (0) ABS light on and the ESP yellow light on.*

Done a quick search in the forums and read that it could be the brake light switch maybe.*
So just got a work colleague to check my brake lights *when applied and they are not working.*

Is this an expensive part or job? Really worried now has I have no brake light's.*

And to really p*** me off more I've got my car booked in for a re-map this aft!*
Don't know if I should cancel it. *

Not a big job. Had mine done at an independant specialist for £34.

Easy to fix. You may find the clutch switch has gone too. Best do them both at the same time.

Just rung the VW garage up the road and they use the same part £9.99 so will have ago to fit it myself.
Car is going on a diagnostic machine today so I will get them to double check the fault before I go a head and purchase it.
