A4 xxx Number Plates

I've noticed a lot of these around recently, only 1 of which though has been on an Audi! Whats going on? I've seen Saabs, Mercs, even a Rover(!!). I'm guessing it must be a combination of people who've had an A4 and defected, but kept the personal plate, or just people that couldn't afford A1 xxx (or maybe they're dreaming of owning an A4, but haven't quite got there yet! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif ). Looks stupid in my opinion unless its on the right car. Then again, I suppose most people wouldn't bat an eyelid.

Just an observation. Anyone here got one?

Funny you should mention that cause i've an A2 XXX on my A4 and i was trying to swop it but no one was interested!

I saw A4 AUD number plate on a new Mazda RX8 in Milton Keynes at Xmas, have to say it looked a bit rediculous !

As for me I have my initials at the beginning of the plate and AUD at the end.

The girl in the Beetle was very cool. Not only was she a bit of a looker, had the roof down, was driving the ring, appeared to be there without a fella in tow but she also had her toothbrush in the flower holder on the dash.
