Semi Auto Audi A4 Cab - Gearbox Dieing

Hi all,


I bought my Audi A4 1.8T Cab around a month back and so far it has been in good condition with few minor issues.
However this morning when driving, I lost full accelleration in auto mode. I changed to the manual gear change mode, and I had power again.
Since then my Auto mode returned and working.

I know I have a gearbox issue as when stopping and starting, it jumps a little and shudders.

What can I do about this issue?
I know its over 1k to get it replaces exc garage costs.

Would it best to buy warranty for the car and get it replaced on there?

have you got the flashing lights ?
how many miles ?
has thegearbox fluid been changed ?

What flashing lights? I just have the issue sometimes (more so now) and when coming to a standstill/crawl.

I got the gearbox fluid changed 2 months back.

I think hes asking if the PRNDS etc lights are flashing?

Nope, none have started to flash as of yet

Sit down, deep breath, Type PRNDS into google.
