Happy with my A4

Hi All,

Just wanted to say Im happy with my A4 after getting 450 miles out of a tank of fuel on a run to scotland at roughly 80 all the way. managed to get 36mpg average according to the dash.

No its not a deisel, Its a 1.8t quattro.

So I think thats pretty good.

Although I put in £30 when I had to stop for fuel and burnt the lot in the last 60 miles, After being bored to death driving sensibly for 450 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol, sounds just like me that, drive nicley for miles n miles, then BLAST IT for a few .

just to make me feel better and all that!!

Thats almost exactly what i got on a 600 mile trip to scotland last year, in fact the DIS was reading an average of 37.2 MPG, and that was also on a 190BHP 1.8T Quattro S-Line. I also stuck to 75 to 80 mph, what a ****** boring 12 hours that was!!!
