Post pics of your past and current cars! - Picture heavy!

Right guys, I was thinking about this earlier that we need a thread like this. I was thinking about my previous cars and wondering,..... I've had quite a few to say the least in my 12 years of driving, no less than 27 to be exact!

So, I'll get the ball rolling, I haven't got photos of all of them on my laptop, so I'll post the ones I do have and a brief description of make and model. These are all in order of when I bought them.

1. - First car I had for 3 months, an '89 Mk4 Ford Escort 1.1 bonus, started the mods with RS turbo rims, lowered, exhaust etc

2. - '88 Honda Civic 1.4 GL, 17" alloys, lowered, tints, sound system etc

3. - '92 Honda CRX delsol SiR JDM Import Supercharged. This is where it all began really, I'm still paying for this car now, spent over £16k on this car and had a 7 page mag feature on it. I had a Vortech supercharger imported from the states which was and probably still is the only one in the country. There wasnt a part of this car I didn't mod or customise.

4. - '90 Honda Civic 1.4 GL (the runaround)

5. - '94 Honda Civic 1.5 Lsi (another runaround)

6. - '91 Nissan Pulsar GTiR I bought this already modded, didn't have it too long though, it was a b*tch to drive, but very fast!

7. - '93 Toyota Supra 3.0 NA, lovely looing car which sounded nice but under powered!

8. - '93 Honda Civic SiR2 JDM Import, go kart car, super light with 168 bhp from a 1.6!

9. - '98 Honda Integra Type R, pretty much standard apart from Tein coilovers

10. - '99 Honda Civic Jordan, 1 of 500, this was a brilliant eye catching car

11, 12, and 13. - Runarounds, Citreon xantia, fiesta diesel, fiesta 1.25 zetec

14. - '95 Honda Civic SiR2 JDM Import, one of my favourites, spent loads on this car, the only handling mod it was missing was a full roll cage! Loads of seriously expensive mods including ultra rare magnesium alloy Regamaster evo wheels weighing 3.8kgs each!!

15. - '98 Subaru Impreza STi Type R 2 door V4 JDM Import, loads of fun this car, was probably still the fastest car I have ever had, it was running 350 bhp which paired to its lightweight 1250kgs kerb weight and short ratio gearbox made it a weapon!

16. - '95 Mitsibushi FTO GPX rare manual, high revving 2 litre V6, did sound lovely, but love affair didn't last long.

17. - '98 BMW E36 M3 Evo coupe SMG, didn't have this too long, bought these 18" M5 alloys for it and then sold it!

18. - '97 Audi A3 1.8T sport, loads of mods carried out to this, and was running a dyno proven 254 bhp!

19. - '01 Audi S3 210 bhp model, although remapped to 265 bhp, lovely spec and I put the 18" BBS LM reps on it from the previous A3. Also had Eibach coilovers, Brembo 4 pots, and a Milltek exhaust system.

20. - '97 Honda Civic Type R EK9 JDM Import Supercharged, unlike my CRX which I supercharged myself I bought this EK9 already supercharged direct from japan, this was a bit bonkers this car, sounded like a crazed touring car, addictive noise.

21. - '01 Audi S3 225 bhp model, remapped to 265 bhp, coilovers, team dynamics, milltek. Rare Misano red.

22. - '97 BMW E36 M3 Evo convertible, completely standard.

23. - '03 Honda Civic Type R 30th Anniversary Edition, 1 of 300.

24. - '99 Toyota Altezza RS200 JDM Import, the japanese version of the Lexus IS200 but much better! a 2 litre high revving 210 bhp Yamaha engine, this only had 18k miles on the clock and just 1 japanese owner before me. This really turned heads! Especially when I bought these staggered Rota alloys for it.

25. - '02 Subaru Impreza STi JDM Import, a few choice mods, fast and fun but build quality rubbish.

26. - '02 BMW E46 M3 SMG2, probably the best all round car I've ever had! Stunning in every way shape and form, but unfortunately too much for me to run and maintain what with having 2 kids now, so it had to go

27. - And finally my current, a '01 Audi A4 2.5 TDi quattro sport, I won't go too much into this one as I'm planning on putting together a little build up thread soon, but here is a teaser, current spec in my sig.....

1. Peugeot 306 sedan 1.9 TDI (written off)

2. VW Fox (now my sisters)

3. VW Golf MK3 GTI 8V, the first car I really modded, loved this thing

4. Peugeot 107 Sport (cheap as chips run around)

5. Now to present day, my Audi A4 1.8T S-Line Quattro (190) '04 and obviously by far the best I've had

Nice work mate! You always hold a torch for the first car you properly modded, I'm like that with my old crx, god knows where it is now or if it's still alive!

Very nice A4 as well, I had a good look round it at AITP.

Dubbers - The S4 fog light grilles aren't expensive iirc, you might be surprised if you enquire at your local audi....

Keep the pics coming people! This could be an interesting thread, we get to be nosey and sew what sort of cars fellow members have had before their audi's!

I got a soft spot for sierras. I miss my XR4x4, it gripped the road so well.

I do enjoy taking pictures of cars. So much easier than weddings, they tend to do as they are told and not answer back. lol

Well you certainly don't see many, if any, xr4x4's on the road anymore. I actually saw one a few weeks ago and was on the phone to my mate at the time, I even said to him '****** hell guess what's just driven past me!'

That's actually a very good 355 replica there docurley! Most of the ones I've seen are shockingly bad but that looks very good. I'm liking that Pontiac in the background as well, you got any pics of that?

Loving the Leon on those colour coded porker rims! Love the wide body fiat as well, proper old skool rareness! Yeah very similar taste in previous cars paul, even are current cars are virtually the same! I like that estoril blue 5 series as well mate, what model was that then?

TOm- I love the E30 Msport mate!! I have a mega soft spot for the E30's, when I was a kid my dad had a diamond black E30 320i coupe when they were new out. He lowered it on eibach springs and got a brand new set of genuine BBS rims for it, it had cream interior as well which really set it off. That was in 1987 or 88, i was 8 years old then. Ever since then I've had a big soft spot for them and I'd love to own one now, but it would have to be a minter of a 325i Msport, they still have a cracking sound track!

Az I have to agree with you the lines of the car it is an ultimate classic for me fella!!!

It took me a while and I had been to see it twice before I bought it, although it cost me a fortune (after I bought it) and sold it for a loss!! The guy who had it before me did not look after it at all, I then got a job where I travelled by train, the mrs had a fully expensed company car so I sold that and the compact and didnt have a car until I got my A4.

Ive been keeping an eye on pistonheads and there is a couple on there but something is stopping me from going for either or....I guess its a waiting game and I'll find one I want!

It was only a 2.5 Az, had 11k spent on it though.

It looked like it just rolled out off production!!! Wasnt a mark on it!!!

Even the esoril blue respray was inside and out the lot, every single plastic moulding and rubber was all replaced with brand new parts.

Everyone thought it was a M5 and the people that used to just stare at it was unreal

I am happy with my A4 think it looks the dogs now, i shall keep this baby for a while.

Sounds lovely mate! So all the work was done properly then which is good! The audi is a good car mate, you'd be mad to get rid of it, or if you did I reckon you'd buy it back again if you could like I did with mine!

I will get some pics up very soon mate, I only got my car back last night from having the rear seats fitted at my mates bodyshop, he did a blinding job! You'd never know it originally had fixed rear seats. Anyway, I plan on putting together a bit of a build thread as quite a few bits have changed in the last couple of months.
