Spare interior red light

Now that I've done the single to double din conversion, there's a spare red light that was under the single din cage and lit up the ashtray area. Just wondering did anyone here put this light anywhere else to enhance their interior?
Was thinking maybe drivers footwell but not sure if's there is any point having just 1 footwell lit up and also not sure yet if it's bright enough.

i dont have this light are you sure its a standard thing, anyone else have this?

I also have the two small lights that shine down from near the main interior light (are they called ambient lights) so maybe it's part of a special light pack that comes as an extra on some models??
I have a 2003 a4 1.8t sport.
