Possible oil leak?

Hey guys, been a while since i last logged on but work has been manic.

Today i thought i'd check all the levels as i do every month and this time round I came across an oily residue around the injectors and down the side of the alternator! I checked the oil level and there seems to be no apparent oil loss at all, which has left me confused.

Im gonna get the valve cover gasket replaced next week and at the same time i'll get them to check the breathers out but wondered if any of you have had a similar problem or have some clue into what is causing this.

a little oil gose a long long way it may well be the rocker gasket dont think there is any thing in that part it can be apart from that or as you say a breather.
