DIS QUESTION

my 52 tdi 130 has not got the dis fitted from new !!! my question is can i have this fitted easily or not ??? is it the case of new stalk and couling and a quick plug in to original loom or do you have to buy a different wiring loom etc

just need a new stalk with the toggle buttons, you wont need a new couling and you will need someone with vag com / vcds to enable it, i bought a new stalk for mine off ebay it was £17 new

wow that sounds all so simple thanks pabs ill pop and see my local agent who services my car then see if they can activate the dis when i find one

no probs mate the hardest bit is taking the steering wheel off, shouldn't be a problem for your local mechanic

thick question how come the steering wheel has to come off

you have to take the steering wheel off to disconnect the wiper stalk, the connector is underneath the wheel
