mines got 103000 not a problem as long as it been looked after, i had a blocked oil pickup pipe at 80000ish due to it being on long life service,
if ever you oil pressure light comes on stop and get it recoverd it save you money in the long run

80k not a lot at all: the 1.8 20V engine is incredibly strong and durable, if looked after, so just check for regular oil changes and the usual signs of neglect.

It'll need a cambelt every 5yrs/75k, so check that's been done, then the clutch / turbo will be next to go, but 100k+ before that's an issue, 150k is viable if driven gently.

My B5 1.8T is on just under 200K still original turbo, clutch etc. Have owned for 8 years. Only probs have been suspension arms, steering rack and front wheel bearings.

My B6 1.8T Quattro S-line is on 70K, so i will expect another 130K + miles before any major work. P.s i change the oil and filter every 5K miles and use the quantum longlife 111 and the bigger oil filter.

remember heavier car + quattro both mean a lot more wear on the clutch... sounds like you're looking after it well though, so probably still got a few years left before any issues...
