I'm pretty sure I've seen some posts about a cable for the boot cd changer being in place already. I've climed into my boot to try get the carpet lining open to see if I can find the cable, but I can't fathom how the heck the lining comes away from the side. It seems to be tucked behind the rear seat carpet lining, and then tucked behind the plastic at the boot lip, and also behind the rubber seal. I don't want to strip out ALL the lining in the boot, am I missing a trick? I'd also like to fit one of those power sockets to the boot, is there a power cable for that on the right side too? Has anyone done this, pictures would be fantastic.

Audi didn't fit the rear changer cable to the B6 model because the change lives in the glovebox on these models. However, you can get the cable (4B0 part number) fron a dealer and plug the wires into the back of the 20 pin multi plug. Easy job, did one for a mate the other night, old style 6 disc changer into a 2003 A4.
Might be your lucky day as there is a cable on ebay at the mo for a fiver.
Hopoe this helps
Chris
