B6 Glovebox problem

Hi, i have just bought an Audi A4 1.8T S-line Quattro (190) and the glovebox wont open, is this a common fault and is it easily fixed?

The catch is probably broken. About £25 for a new one iirc.

Yea its quite common. Had a fair few in at work for it. Easy to change, one screw holds it in place, however you may need to remove the lid to do it because you can't get a normal screwdriver, even a dumpy, in there.
